Hopeful about my blog

Since it is summer I will now have more time to focus on attempting to build a stronger blog. I have a few goals for my lil ol blog:

1. I would like to meet other people, share ideas and such.
2. Over the past few years I have discovered amazing websites which link consumers to major companies, willing to dish out some goodies to help gain feed back from people as well as spread the word about products. Through much trial and error I have a handful of sites I would love to share with other people.
3. As I have said in a previous post, I want to share reviews (good and bad) for products I have stumbled upon myself or I was asked to test out through various avenues.
4. I may share crafty stuff with you or maybe a delish recipe :) or perhaps a link to a contest or samples of goodies. 

I do hope that I can master this blog lol, please understand I am a rookie still :)

ooooh really now..

ok here is my first rant, i use FB on a pretty regular basis, i can admit that lol I do not however watch the news on a regular. Don't get me wrong, if I see a headline I find interesting or relevant I check it out. Now the rant, it absolutely pisses me off when certain people on my friends list feel it is their obligations to post the most horrid, soul crushing news stories they find online in their feed. I mean really?? I am a firm believer that what we put in our minds is very important. I choose not to load myself with horrible, sad, heartbreaking information.

I intended to post this in the "about me" section but i keep getting an error so this space works too, besides it is my space ;)

I feel it is important to stop and remind ourselves what makes us who we are.. dream, hopes, likes, dislikes and so on. So here it goes,this is me:

 I AM:

friendly, trusting, compassionate, a hard worker, a feminist, fairly smart , dedicated, a giver, a keeper of others secrets, creative, determined, a romantic at heart yet somewhat jaded, honest, sarcastic and blunt.

 I LOVE:

vintage anything, music of all types, film, writing, red nail polish, coffee, glitter, speaking for equality for all, animals, fall and winter, dancing, scrapbooking, black eyeliner and old Hollywood stars, books, super cute shoes, holidays, tattoos, piercings, art, people of originality and substance, video games, cute creepy stuff, Tim Burton, musicals, office supplies, photography,sushi, creating.

 I DO NOT LOVE:

Liars, abusive people, those who are rude, selfish and inconsiderate, cooking when i HAVE to, shopping for myself, bad parents,preset gender roles, society's ridiculous notions of beauty, how much i really do miss smoking, close minded people, cheaters, and those who judge based on race, or gender.
